The Tweed Valley Renal Dialysis Unit (RDU) is a 12-chair facility providing care for people with end stage kidney disease who are unable to manage dialysis at home, and for those who are acutely unwell. Dialysis care is provided by a multidisciplinary team comprising Renal Physicians, specialist Nurses, and other Allied Health professionals.
The Tweed Valley RDU also provides an outreach service that includes chronic kidney disease management, pre-dialysis education, peritoneal dialysis training, as well as a Renal Supportive Care service that provides specialised care for patients in the community with end stage kidney disease who decide not to have dialysis.
Hours of service: 7:00am to 9.30pm, Monday to Saturday
