The Tweed Byron Cancer Care Service provides chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and biological therapies. We also provide a range of supportive therapies including blood transfusions to patients with solid tumours, haematological malignancies and patients with non-cancerous blood disorders.
The service is involved in clinical trials, providing eligible patients with access to cutting edge clinical research and technology.
Access to the Tweed Byron Cancer Care service is by referral to a Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist or Haematologist.

Hours of service:
Tweed Valley Hospital: 8:00am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
Byron Central Hospital: 9:00am to 3:30pm Wednesday to Friday
Murwillumbah District Hospital: 9:00am to 3:30pm Mondays
