Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers are available to provide education and support to patients of Tweed Valley Hospital and their families, carers, communities, and other organisations. This confidential service promotes respect and equality.
Patients and their carers are involved in planning care options to meet their needs. The Aboriginal Hospital Liaisons can also act as a patient advocate, helping to raise any concerns so that patients get the best health outcome during their care.
