The Level 5 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 10-bed inpatient unit with specialised staff and equipment to care for critically ill patients.
The ICU provides prolonged ventilation, renal replacement therapy, non-invasive ventilation and all standard forms of invasive monitoring.
The ICU is accredited as a training facility for advanced medical trainees in anaesthesia, emergency medicine and intensive care and is also a training facility for undergraduate nurses and physiotherapists.
