Our Clinic provides assessment and management of patients who are aged over 50 years (or over 40 years if Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) who fracture a bone from a minor trauma, in order to reduce their risk of further fractures. Patients are referred from the Emergency Department, the in-patient unit, or their GP. Patients are reviewed by a Staff Specialist Physician and will begin treatment if required. Patients are also seen by the Fracture Liaison coordinator who provides bone health education and referral to other services.
Hours of Service: 8.30am to 3pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
