Every year, there are a large number of grant and funding opportunities available for research projects, with funding coming from national government agencies (e.g. Australian Research Council, National Health and Medical Research Council), state government (e.g. NSW Departments, NSW Ministry of Health), NGOs, international agencies, and individual societies and foundations.
