Tweed Valley Hospital – Outpatient Department 

We offer expert breastfeeding and lactation support to help ensure a successful feeding journey for both mothers and babies. 

Our services are available to women who are 34 weeks pregnant or above, offering valuable information and education ahead of their breastfeeding experience. 

Additionally, we provide support for postnatal women who are facing breastfeeding challenges such as poor attachment, supply issues, or concerns about infant weight gain.

Where: Tweed Valley Hospital, Outpatient Department

Who can access:

  • pregnant women from 34 weeks gestation  
  • postnatal women experiencing breastfeeding difficulties.

Breastfeeding education webinars

The Australian Breastfeeding Association runs online Breastfeeding Education Webinars every Saturday afternoon and some weeknights.

Learn about
* Getting your baby positioned and attached well
* Reading your baby's cues
* Knowing how to tell if your baby is getting enough milk
