Personality disorders fall into 10 distinct types, with Borderline Personality Disorder being the most common seen in Australia. Personality disorders develop in adolescence and tend to remain stable across a person’s life, leading to distress and impeded functioning of a person’s daily life.
These organisations provide information and support for individuals, as well as family members, friends, and carers of a person with a personality disorder.
