The Emergency Department is staffed by experienced doctors and nurses, and provides emergency care to patients of all ages Patients are assessed upon arrival, and those with the most urgent medical needs are seen first.

We work closely with other facilities within Northern NSW Local Health District, and if necessary, patients may be transferred to another site for ongoing care.

Hours of Service: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
