EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always call triple zero (000). It’s a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

For other urgent medical issues, go to an Emergency Department.

Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

The Community Engagement Team (CET) is an intensive, assertive outreach service. In an alcohol and other drugs context, the CET clinician coordinates care and provides assertive outreach to people with severe and persistent alcohol and other drugs issues.

We focus on the unmet needs and adaptive functioning of the individual, and will work towards meaningful engagement, supporting people to develop living skills and build health and wellbeing protective factors.

We recognise that each person has their own strengths, functional capacities, identified supports, and personal care priorities.

CET clients are likely to be frequent emergency service users with limited access to primary health and specialist treatment services. The CET approach is designed to improve access to treatment and supports for these clients.

For referrals to CET, please phone your nearest AOD Services. Contact details are located on the AOD Services page.
