Our Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselling is patient-centred and focusses on individual patient’s needs, strengths and vulnerabilities. All counselling is provided in a ‘trauma informed’ way.

Service providers are sensitive to the diverse and specific needs of people who are culturally and linguistically diverse, and you can request an interpreter can be provided if required.

Counsellors work to:

  • improve the functioning of people with moderate to severe Alcohol and Other Drugs dependency and related issues
  • support people through a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • facilitate and support recovery through empowerment, hope, connection to community, and personal meaning and purpose.
