EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always call triple zero (000). It’s a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

For other urgent medical issues, go to an Emergency Department.

Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

We are well-aware of what it means to live in Northern NSW and the need to be prepared for the impact of major climate and weather events. The best time to prepare for a disaster is now. It may be too late when a major event is forecast.

As a Carer there will be a lot to prepare for. It is important to think about what your needs will be first. Just like when the flight attendant says to put your mask on first before assisting others. A Carer needs to be alive and well before they can assist others.

Helpful disaster preparedness planning tools for Carers can be accessed via this link to the Carers NSW Disaster Preparedness Hub.
