EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always call triple zero (000) for an ambulance. Ambulances are the safest way to be assessed, treated and transported to the right hospital for the care you need.

Triple zero (000) is a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

For less severe but still urgent situations, go to an Emergency Department.

There are 12 public hospital Emergency Departments in Northern NSW Local Health District and they are all available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

One new venue of concern has been identified in Northern NSW, visited by confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Anyone who has been at the venue below on the date and times listed must immediately get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result, even if you are fully vaccinated or feel well. Even if you are fully vaccinated, you should get tested and isolate immediately if you have even the mildest of COVID-19 symptoms – a slightly runny nose, a scratchy or sore throat or are generally feeling unwell.

There are more than 450 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW. Find a clinic on the NSW Government website or contact your GP.
