EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always call triple zero (000) for an ambulance. Ambulances are the safest way to be assessed, treated and transported to the right hospital for the care you need.

Triple zero (000) is a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

For less severe but still urgent situations, go to an Emergency Department.

There are 12 public hospital Emergency Departments in Northern NSW Local Health District and they are all available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Six new cases of COVID-19 have been reported for Northern NSW Local Health District to 8pm 25 October.

One case is in the Clarence Valley Local Government Area (LGA), a household contact of a previously confirmed case, and has been in isolation.

Five cases are in the Lismore LGA, and are under investigation.

This brings the total number of cases in the District since 16 June to 121.

Anyone with even the slightest symptoms should get tested as soon as they feel unwell. There are more than 500 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW. Find a clinic at COVID-19 testing clinics or contact your GP.

Mobile vaccination bus visits South Grafton

We encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as they are able to.

A mobile COVID-19 vaccination bus will be visiting South Grafton this Thursday and Friday.

The clinic will provide Pfizer vaccinations, and anyone aged 12 and over is welcome. No appointment is needed, just walk-in. Please bring your Medicare Card if you have one.
