PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AND TERMS
The purpose of the Project is to create a welcoming environment for patients in the Murwillumbah District Hospital Medical Imaging waiting room.
- Submission instructions
- Photographs can be submitted online, uploaded in JPG format no smaller than 1MB with a maximum size of 512mb, or delivered to: Murwillumbah District Hospital, Ewing Street Murwillumbah.
- Photographs must depict the local environment and/or landmarks around the Murwillumbah and Tweed Valley region.
- Photographs must be original photographs which comply with these Photo Submission Guidelines

Photographs submitted for the Project must not:- contain imagery of pets
- contain images of people where the person could be identified
- infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and must not contain trademarks, logos or trade dress owned by others, or advertise or promote any brand or product of any kind or contain any personal identification, such as vehicle number plates, personal names, e-mail addresses or street addresses
- contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media)
- Intellectual property and rights
By submitting a photograph for display, the photographer:- asserts that the photograph is an original work, meaning that the photograph was taken and created by the photographer, has not been copied from any other source, and does not incorporate any material or idea from any other person.
- agrees to allow one copy of the photograph to become the property of Northern NSW Local Health District for display. The photographer retains copyright.
- agrees that Northern NSW Local Health District may make their photograph available to the public, including by displaying, publishing, communicating to the public, broadcasting for the purpose of marketing and promoting the Hospital or Health Service in any media including, but not limited to Northern NSW Local Health District’s website, social media sites, publications published and distributed by the Northern NSW Local Health District.
- Northern NSW Local Health District reserves the right to include or remove any photographs from public display or publication at its discretion.
- Fees or payments
There is no fee, payment, royalty or other form of remuneration involved in submitting photographs for this Project.
