Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

The Children and Adolescent Unit provides Acute Care for children from one week of age up to 18 years who meet criteria for admission. The Unit is staffed by experienced Paediatric staff and provides care for children requiring general medical, surgical, and orthopaedic surgery care.

Hours of Service

10am to 1pm and 3pm to 8pm. Parents can visit any time. The Unit is locked for security and safety. Entry is gained by pressing a button at the Unit’s entrance and speaking to staff.
