Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

The Paediatric Community Health Nurse provides support and education to children and their families following hospital admission, or who have chronic complex conditions.

The Paediatric Nurse also provides education for children and their families on conditions such as continence issues, asthma, anaphylaxis, and eczema.

Access criteria: 

  • Must live in Murwillumbah catchment area of the Tweed Shire.
  • Families can contact the service directly to self-refer, and we also accept referrals from GPs, Registered Nurses, hospitals, and allied health professionals.
