Podiatry
Our Podiatrists work with clients who have foot and leg disorders to improve their mobility and enhance independence. This is achieved through the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and management of pathological foot problems and associated restrictions in function.
The Podiatry service provides ulcer debridement and offloading, diabetes foot assessments, orthotic treatment, and help with applications for medical grade footwear.
The High Risk Foot Service is a multi-disciplinary service that treats diabetes-related foot ulcerations, infections and acute Charcot Arthropathy.
Clients who are identified as being high risk will be given priority, with other referrals assessed by clinical need.
The Community Podiatrist works closely with the High Risk Foot Service to provide holistic and continuity of care. All initial appointments require a referral from another healthcare professional.
