Our Occupational Therapy Team asses people’s ability to carry out their usual daily activities with the aim of helping people stay as independent as possible, and safe within their own homes.

Our services include home modifications, equipment prescription, and education about falls prevention, energy conservation, and pressure injury prevention and management.

Services are provided in hospitals, community health centres and at home. We also have an Equipment Loan Pool to help people with the hire of equipment for short periods up to two months.

Our Paediatric Occupational Therapist sees children aged 0-6 years and their family and carers, with a focus on child development, moving skills, thinking skills, and the way the child understands information from different senses.

We accept referrals from GPs, allied health professionals, community service providers, family and friends with the client’s consent, and self-referral.  

Hours: 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday, by appointment only.
