EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always call triple zero (000). It’s a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

For other urgent medical issues, go to an Emergency Department.

Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

Our Child and Family Counselling Service works with children aged 0-12 years of age, and their families and carers, to improve children’s health, well-being, and day-to-day functioning.

The Child and Family Counselling Service (CFCS) caters for children with a range of problematic behaviours including school refusal, sleep difficulties, anxiety, problems associated with bullying and anti-social behaviours, and coping with loss.

Where appropriate, our counsellors work collaboratively with schools and pre-schools.

Our counsellors do not provide an emergency service during extreme crisis. Urgent cases are referred to the Mental Health Access Line, Acute Care services, or the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital.
