In an emergency, always call triple zero (000). It’s a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

The Needle Syringe Program (NSP) is a public health measure aimed at reducing the spread of blood-borne viruses such as HIV, Hep B and Hep C among people who inject drugs (PWID).

Ballina Harm Reduction services include:

* Free access to a range of injecting equipment, information, support, referral;

* Fit packs available from Community Health Self Access cupboard Monday–Friday 8.30am–4.45pm

* 24 hour fit pack vending machine located near Ballina District Hospital ambulance bay with 1ml and 5 ml fit packs ($3 per pack)

* Access to sharps safe disposal bin

Hours: NSP Clinic hours subject to change. Secondary Cupboard: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4:45pm (closed when Primary Outlet open)
