EMERGENCY

In an emergency, always call triple zero (000). It’s a free call from any phone, mobile or phone box.

For other urgent medical issues, go to an Emergency Department.

Our Emergency Departments are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

NNSWLHD seeks to remove physical, attitudinal, communication and social barriers that prevent staff-members reaching their full potential.

We recognise the value that diversity brings to the organisation. We aspire to providing employment opportunity and delivering services in which people thrive and belong. We will achieve this through recognition of the diverse experiences of people and involving people and their diverse perspectives.

Diversity Inclusion Belonging Guide

As the largest public health system in Australia, building a workforce that represents the community it serves is vital in delivering inclusive and responsive services.

To help achieve this, the Diversity Inclusion Belonging guide provides the direction for public health organisations to ensure local diversity initiatives align with, and deliver, diversity and inclusion goals set out in the Future Health. The guide acknowledges the elements of diversity and inclusion, the positives that come from individual differences and recognises the crucial role a sense of belonging plays in delivering an effective, functioning, diverse and inclusive workplace.
