Fever Clinics in Northern NSWWe are now operating four (4) specialty Fever Clinics in the Northern NSW Local Health District. They are located at:
- Byron Central Hospital – 54 Ewingsdale Road, Ewingsdale, NSW | Open 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week
- Grafton Base Hospital – Arthur Street, Grafton, NSW 2460 | Open 9.00am – 5.00pm, 7 days a week
- Lismore Base Hospital – Uralba Street, Lismore, NSW 2480 | Open 9am to 5:30pm, 7 days a week
- The Tweed Hospital – Powell Street, Tweed Heads, NSW 2485 | Open 8am to 6pm, 7 days a week
The purpose of these clinics is for people who have respiratory symptoms or fever and who are at risk of COVID-19, for example because they were in contact with a COVID-19 case, or have returned from overseas in the 14 days before onset of symptoms.
People do not need to call ahead to attend these clinics. If attending another Emergency Department for assessment of COVID-19, please advise staff immediately on arrival. You can also phone (not visit) your regular GP for advice and to arrange testing.

Mobile testing clinic
A mobile testing clinic is visiting various locations around the District.
The clinic is currently stationed at Coraki until 28 August 2020, located at the Coraki-Campbell Health One on Surry Street, Coraki.
The clinic is free, and bookings are recommended. There are limited walk-in appointments available.

Anyone who develops who flu-like symptoms should not delay getting tested at one of the multiple testing clinics already established throughout the region.
The mobile clinic will also visit other towns in the Northern NSW Local Health District.
The Commonwealth funded project is led by Bulgarr Ngaru Medical Aboriginal Corporation and supported by the Northern NSW Local Health District, NSW Health Pathology and North Coast Primary Health Network. The clinic will be staffed by two nurses and a local General Practitioner.
