Kingscliff Community Health Dietetics and Nutrition

Dieticians apply the art and science of human nutrition to help people understand the relationship between food and health. Dieticians help clients make dietary choices to attain and maintain health, and to prevent and treat illness and disease. Conditions commonly seen include diabetes, overweight, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, raised cholesterol, malnutrition, childhood feeding issues and tube feeding. Adults and children are seen at each of the centres.

  • 8.00am – 4.30pm (Monday – Friday)
  • Clients residing in NSW with a written referral from health professional – for example medical officer or GP, dietitian, community nurse, speech pathologist, occupational therapist etc.
  • Clients with a written referral (as above) may phone the centre reception to arrange an appointment.
