The Needle Syringe Program is a public health measure to reduce the spread of blood-borne viral infections among injecting drug users

  • Primary Outlet: Monday and Tuesday 9.00am-12.30pm
  • Secondary Cupboard: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4:45pm (closed when Primary Outlet open)
  • Full range of injecting equipment available, information, support and referral from Primary Outlet
  • Fitpacks available from Community Health Self Access cupboard Monday–Friday 8.30am–4.45pm
  • 24 hour vending machine available for 1ml and 5 ml fitpacks, located near Ambulance Bay at Ballina Hospital ($3 per pack)
  • Access to Safe Sharps Disposal Bin
