Social Work Services

Social Work services can support and assist families in dealing with emotional and practical issues impacting on wellbeing.

Social Worker services offer:

  • assistance to individuals to work through situations that may cause stress, anxiety or depression (e.g. carer stress, postnatal depression),
  • counselling and support when you have experienced grief, loss or bereavement,
  • emotional and practical support in times of crisis and trauma (e.g. child protection, family violence),
  • support for adjustment to serious illness and disability,
  • support individuals through relationship difficulty,
  • referral around drug and alcohol dependency/ mental health
  • information about other services that may provide additional support.
