Homemade dumplings are easy and make a great meal (served with veg) or finger food.
Serves: 25-30 dumplings
1 packet of dumpling wrappers (usually available in the cold section of grocery stores)
400g chicken mince
1 cup shredded cabbage
2-3 spring onions
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
1-2 red chillis, finely sliced
2cm piece of ginger, finely grated
Place all ingredients except dumpling wrappers into a bowl and mix until well combined.
Put one dumpling wrapper in your hand and spoon in a small amount of mixture (see picture). Fold into triangle and seal edges using a little water. Fold in corners to create a parcel.
Set aside and repeat with remaining dumpling wrappers.
Grease or line a steamer and steam dumplings for 10-15 minutes or until cooked.
