Breakfast Bars

4 ingredient breakfast bars that the kids can help make.


2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups untoasted muesli (we used one with bran sticks and dried fruit as well)
1 teaspoon cinnamon


Preheat oven to 180°C. Line and grease a square cake tin.
Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix until well combined.
Spoon mixture into tin, ensuring even thickness across the surface.
Bake for 20 minutes (until golden) then remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Cut into bars and return to oven for a further 15 minutes to crisp.
