COVID-19 update: 24 November 2021

Northern NSW Local Health District continues to urge people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and to seek testing immediately if symptoms develop.

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported for NNSWLHD to 8pm 23 November.

One of these cases is in the Byron Local Government Area, a household contact of an existing case. The other case is in the Ballina LGA and is under investigation.

Even if you are fully vaccinated you should get tested and isolate immediately if you don’t feel well, because the quicker we can identify any new cases, the quicker we’re able to identify your close contacts and help stop any onward transmission to other parts of our community.

There are 500 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW. To find your nearest clinic visit the NSW Government website or contact your GP.

If you have not yet received your COVID-19 vaccination, you can find your closest clinic or make a booking at the Australian Government’s COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Finder.
