Domestic Violence Information Flip Chart Launch for Health Workers
Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSW LHD) has launched an Information Flip Chart Tool for Health Workers to assist them in supporting women who are experiencing domestic and family violence.

Ellie Saberi, Women and Child Health Program Coordinator said it was time to update the Flip Chart tool from the 2010 version, which was reproduced from the former North Coast Area Health Service Women’s Health and Domestic Violence Program.

This new edition provides current up-to-date information for people working in both government and non-government agencies who encounter a client they know, or suspect is experiencing domestic and family violence.

Chris Crawford, Chief Executive, NNSW LHD said, “The resource will assist our front line workers to recognise and respond appropriately to domestic violence and covers services from Taree to Tweed Heads.
