Intensive Care Service

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 10-bed inpatient unit with specialised staff and equipment to care for critically ill patients.

The ICU is able to provide prolonged ventilation, renal replacement therapy, non-invasive ventilation and all standard forms of invasive monitoring.

The ICU is accredited as a training facility for advanced medical trainees in anaesthesia, emergency medicine and intensive care and is also a training facility for undergraduate nurses and physiotherapists.

Hours of Service: 2pm to 8pm; unrestricted visiting by arrangement
