Tweed Heads Community Health Respiratory Liaison Nurse
Currently offers 2 services: Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program (PR) at TTH & Respiratory out patient clinic at Kingscliff CHC.Respiratory Clinic: We specialise in Chronic Respiratory Disease & Asthma management. Currently this is a free service where we provide a respiratory consultation, Spirometry diagnostic reports, monitor your disease progression, medication review, oxygen management and assessment for Pulmonary Rehabilitation. We work closely with the clients doctors and specialist.
Pulmonary Rehabilitation: An 8 week program running 4 times a year at TTH in our physio gym. Initial assessment is through the Respiratory Clinic prior to commencing. Runs every Tuesday & Thursday 10am-12pm. Bookings for initial assessment is on the bookings line 02 6674 9500. This program is held twice a year at Byron C/Health for eight weeks. - Must be 18+ yrs, have a referral or health summary from GP or Specialist. All clients are consulted in Clinic prior to PR admission.
- Requires contacting our bookings line on 02 6674 9500. There they will receive an appointment for a consultation with the Respiratory CNS2. Sorry no walk-ins please.
