Community Health Physiotherapy – Children

Paediatric Physiotherapy is provided to children from the community ranging from birth to 18 years who are not eligible for treatment with ADHC. Physiotherapy involves a family centered, functional approach to the assessment, diagnosis, management and prevention of disorders of paediatric movement and development. Children are seen for a variety of conditions including orthopaedic and musculoskeletal assessment, general developmental concerns, movement disorders, cardio respiratory conditions, prematurity follow-up, neurological and neuromuscular conditions.

  • 8.00am – 4.30pm (Monday to Friday) at Maclean Community Health
  • GP or other health service provider referral.
  • Referral via Clarence Valley Child Development Pathway for children with developmental concerns.
  • 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
