Child and Family Counselling Service

Our Child and Family Counselling Service works with children aged 0-12 years of age, and their families and carers, to improve children’s health, well-being, and day-to-day functioning. The Child and Family Counselling Service (CFCS) caters for children with a range of problematic behaviours including school refusal, sleep difficulties, anxiety, problems associated with bullying and anti-social behaviours, and coping with loss.

Our counsellors do not provide an emergency service during extreme crisis, with urgent cases referred to the Mental Health Access Line, Acute Care services, or the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital. Where appropriate, our counsellors work collaboratively with schools and pre-schools.

Bookings are essential and can be made by phoning reception on 6683 9080.
