Murwillumbah District Hospital – Needle Syringe Program

Provision of a wide range of clean injecting equipment for people who inject drugs from the Community Health Site at any time during office hours. Harm Reduction Officers are available at selected times at Tweed, Murwillumbah and Byron Bay Community Health Centres for drop in appointments to discuss any issues and concerns regarding drug use, sharps disposals, multidisciplinary referrals, and health promotion/health education with clients and members of the community.
