Grafton Base Hospital – Satellite Chemotherapy Unit

The Unit provides a wide range of services in an outpatient setting, primarily administering chemotherapy to cancer clients and other supportive treatments. The unit also provides Rheumatology infusions, blood & blood product infusions including immunoglobulin & iron infusions. Venesections are also carried out. Clients may have the opportunity to be seen by the Lismore Medical Oncologist & Coffs Harbour Radiation Oncologist in Grafton. Telelink appointments occur with the Lismore Haematologist. Supportive client services include referrals to Allied health professionals and to other service providers if required.

  • Operating hours are 8.00am-4.30pm (Mon-Fri)
  • The service is available to people who reside within the Clarence Valley catchment
  • A referral to this service is required by a GP or Specialist
