Kyogle Community Health Speech Pathology – Children
The service is provided children who reside in Kyogle or surrounding areas. The service is limited and may cover assessment for delays or difficulties with development of drinking and eating and communication development including understanding and using workds, clear speech, voice and fluency (stuttering).
The service is available for two days per week for adults and children, currently Wed & Thurs, which covers Urbenville, Woodenbong and the Kyogle area.
Child of any age (birth onwards) can be referred by parent/ legal guardian via phone, fax, in person. Full time Reception staff will take contact details then speech pathologist will follow up ASAP to take & share info re needs.
For appointments clinician contacts the parent/guardian directly by phone or letter when they reach the top of the waiting list. Service is limited by the part time nature of the service and area covered, with prioritisation consistent with Northern NSW LHD.
